What is the total amperage drain on the electrical system for the Motorcycle Kits 210019?
Less than 4 amps total draw.

Will the grips work on my machine?
If your machine has a battery it will work.  On older machines there the alternators have a low capacity.  Check your owners manual.  Our grips need 4 amps which would be above the draw of the head and tail light.

Why does the controller on the Winter Pak (210029) turn off after 2 minutes?
The controller has a low voltage cut off built in.  The purpose of this is to prevent draining of the battery.  If the battery is putting out 12 volts, then you have the power wire for the controller connected to a low voltage wire.  They are usually connected to the ignition wire.  In this case select the head light wire for the power source for the controller.

The lights on the controller are too bright, can they be dimmed?
Yes, press the select and power set button at the same time.  Repeat to turn the lights on to bright again.

What if I forget to turn the controller off when I leave the machine.  Will it drain the battery?
No, there is a shut off in the controller that will turn the unit off after 2 hours if no adjustments are made on the controller.

I already have a hand warmers installed on my machine, can I install a thumb warmer and connect it to my hand warmer switch?
Yes, in the kit there are piggy back connectors.  Hook these connectors to the switch and then the hand warmers are plugged into the added tab on the piggy back.  The switch should then run both areas.

Can I use the motorcycle grip warmers under my custom machines grips?
No.  SYMTEC is developing a heater which will install into the handle bar.  This unit will allow the rider to use just about any grip on the market.

Is there a thumb warmer kit for older snowmobiles like Polaris Pre 1995, Arctic Cat 1998, Yamaha Pre 1994 and Ski-Du Tundra?
Yes, that is our part number 210003RR/MT.
