Position Summary:
As an Assembly Technician at Symtec, you’ll be responsible for performing light cable/wire assembly while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized workspace.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
- Perform cable/wire assembly and other light assembly work
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
- General mechanical and electronic assembly and testing operations
- Packaging and boxing of products
- Basic machine operations
- Soldering electrical wires and SMT components
- Additional duties as become necessary and/or are assigned by management
Requirements:
- Fluent in English – read, write, speak
- Basic math and accurate counting
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to read and follow; job travelers, work instructions and assembly drawings
- Good communication skills
- Team player
- Lifting requirements 20-40lbs
Preferred Experience:
- Previous cable/wire assembly experience
- Hand soldering skills
- Experience working in a team and assembly line environment
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing tools
- Shipping, receiving, warehouse experience
